Jessica Clancy is Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility at NBCUniversal. In this role, she leads nonprofit partnership management, employee engagement and supports employees in nonprofit board service placement. She is also a nonvoting member of the Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation board, and leads the NBCU Local Impact Grant Program ,which provides more than $2.5MM annually for local communities where NBCU local stations operate.

Prior to Comcast NBCU, Jessica was a consultant at Corporate Citizenship, a full service CSR consultancy. In addition, she spent time at the National Football League building out cause and community programs for the League and its teams including NFL PLAY 60; the League’s signature initiative focused on youth health and wellness. Jessica started her career at HEALTH Leads DC, a social enterprise that envisions a healthcare system that addresses all patients’ basic resource needs as a standard part of quality care.

She has a B.A. from The George Washington University and an M.P.A from the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.

Megan Ulu-Lani Boyanton joined The Denver Post in January 2022 as a business reporter, focusing her coverage on social inequities in business. She writes for Smithsonian Magazine, Delish, Eater and other publications. She covers the Hawaiian diaspora for Ka Wai Ola, a Hawaiʻi-based newspaper. She also serves as a faculty adjunct at Arizona State University, teaching Media Issues in American Pop Culture. 

For two years, she chased after lawmakers on Capitol Hill as Bloomberg Government's agriculture and trade policy reporter. Megan has covered the Venezuelan refugee crisis in Peru, parliamentary affairs in England, White House press briefings in Washington, D.C., and the cannabis industry in Colorado.

Lydia Dishman is Fast Company’s senior editor for growth and engagement. She has also written for CBS Moneywatch, Fortune, The Guardian, Popular Science, and the New York Times, among others.

Emily McCrary-Ruiz-Esparza is a freelance reporter and From Day One contributing editor based in Richmond, Va., who writes about workplace culture and policies, hiring, DEI, and issues faced by women. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, Fast Company, and Food Technology, among others, and has been syndicated by MSN and The Motley Fool.

Sarah began her career in Human Resources at companies like SiriusXM, Coach, and Gilt Groupe before transitioning to the role of Head of Sales at Gilt City—the company’s luxury lifestyle experiences arm. In this role, Sarah ran a 65-person sales team, managed $60 million in yearly revenue, and expanded the brand to top cities across the U.S. It was there that she identified the direct correlation between culture and the bottom line—when employees failed to address their issues with colleagues and managers, revenue suffered.

Before co-founding Bravely, Sarah launched an EdTech company (accepted into the acclaimed 500 Startups accelerator) that helped educate kids on the importance of environmental and wildlife conservation.
Sarah’s experience in HR, team management, and tech—combined with an ongoing obsession with helping people gain the confidence they need to find meaning in their work—inspired her to co-found Bravely in 2017.

As E4E Relief’s Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships, Ashley enjoys working with a determined group of (mostly female!) leaders, as well as thoughtful organizations around the globe to spread the word on why employee relief programs are good for people and good for business. A born and bred Tarheel, Ashley graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in organizational communications and romance languages.  Her love for language and all things sports is now mostly practiced with her two kids.  Serving on community boards including the YMCA, U.S. Airways Education Foundation, and the Ballard Food Bank have been significant opportunities for her to participate in advancing meaningful missions.

David Bator thinks and writes about how work could work. David leads Achievers Workforce Institute, a strategic practice whose focus on Research, Community and Advisory empowers global executives with tactical, practical approaches to changing how the world works.

David is passionate about people, and has spent the last 20 years working closely and consultatively with HR, IT and Communications leaders to build programs that position individuals, teams and companies to grow.

Christine M. Salerno is Head of Social Impact at Marsh & McLennan, a position she created in 2010.  In this role, she has shaped the Company’s overall SI strategy, which includes volunteering programs, grant making and fundraising, and all operational issues related to them. MMC now has active volunteers in over 50 countries and 350 cities – almost half of MMC’s geographic footprint.  These efforts have had a measurable impact on employee engagement, have helped shift the overall culture of the organization and most importantly have supported hundreds of communities and thousands of nonprofits around the world.

With Marsh & McLennan since 2009, she initially was on the International and Client Development team, working with the Country CEO’s in Europe and the Middle East.  She also managed the World Economic Forum relationship, increasing the company’s engagement with the WEF in key areas.

Prior to joining MMC, she was a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum in Geneva.  While there, she designed and co-led the WEF’s integrated approach to corporate responsibility/citizenship including advising the Executive Chairman and numerous other internal and external constituents on content related to corporate engagement in society for the Annual Meeting in Davos and other regional WEF summits.

She started her career at Swiss Bank/UBS where she held numerous roles, including helping orchestrate the merger between Swiss Bank and UBS in Zurich.

Christine holds an MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with specializations in international finance and environmental issues and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.  She has lived in Singapore, Italy, the UK and Switzerland.  She currently lives in Manhattan with her 9-year-old daughter.

Neil Giacobbi is a visionary public engagement strategist with 20+ years of experience creating compelling campaigns and leading high stakes initiatives. He builds collaborations with strategic, often unlikely, partners to advance policy, drive reputation, mitigate risk, develop business, and achieve social impact. Neil currently develops and leads philanthropic and communications initiatives for AT&T in New York City. He previously led the company’s digital wellbeing and responsible product use strategies for customers, employees and the public as well as initiatives serving people with disabilities and to support mass transit and traffic safety. Neil has a bachelor’s of science from Cornell University and was recognized by the Aspen Institute as a First Mover fellow, a global network of accomplished innovators inside companies who lead new projects that increase business value and make the world a better place. Neil lives in Brooklyn with his wife and three kids.

Pete loves helping team members achieve career objectives and enabling clients to reach business objectives. He works with clients, the CyberGrants product team, and industry experts to develop and lead the future of the company’s products and drive secure and efficient funds disbursement.

Aileen Strickland McGee is the Manager of ESG Strategy + Engagement at Steelcase.

Joe Holt is the James E. and Audrey Jack Teaching Professor of Business Ethics in the Management
and Operations Department in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Joe
received his B.A. from Boston College and spent 12 years as a Jesuit completing graduate studies in
Philosophy (Fordham University), Theology (Weston School of Theology), and Biblical Theology
(Gregorian University in Rome).

He also taught Philosophy with a specialization in Business Ethics at Canisius College, Boston
College, and Loyola University Chicago’s Rome Center. After leaving the Jesuits, Joe reflected on
faith, values and ethics in the workplace from the perspective of one in the business trenches; he spent a brief stint as a stockbroker and then graduated from Harvard Law School and worked for more than 5 years as a corporate attorney in major Chicago law firms (while teaching Business Ethics and Spirituality of Work on an adjunct basis in Loyola University Chicago’s MBA program). For two
years prior to joining Notre Dame full-time, Joe was a Senior Lecturer in Law and Director of the
Clinic on Entrepreneurship at The University of Chicago Law School (the Clinic provides free legal
assistance to inner-city, low-income entrepreneurs seeking financial self-sufficiency). At the law
school, Joe taught Entrepreneurship and the Law, Negotiation and Mediation, and a seminar designed and offered for the first time by Joe on The Ethical Dimensions of Lawyering.

He currently teaches Foundations of Ethical Business Conduct in the Notre Dame MBA and MSM
programs, Ethics in the Nonprofit Organization in the MNA program, and Ethics in Finance in the
MSF program. He also teaches Ethics in the Emerging Markets, Rising Together: Gender Equity in
Business, Sustainable Business: Strategies & Solutions, Negotiations, and Spirituality of Leadership in the Workplace in the Notre Dame MBA program and Negotiations in the MNA program.

Joe also designs and offers executive programs and consults in the areas of ethics, leadership, spirituality, and negotiations. Joe regularly writes op-ed pieces for CNBC, The Hill, CNN, Chicago Tribune, Fortune, and other media outlets on ethics, leadership and negotiation and has been interviewed on CNBC’s Nightly Business Report on ethics in business. He has been retained by the SEC as a business ethics expert witness for a trial involving fraud and is a contributing writer at Forbes covering all matters ethical, social and environmental. He has won Teacher of the Year awards in both the MBA and MSM programs.

He won the MBA Teacher of the Year Award in 2013, a 2018 Media Legend award at Notre Dame,
and the MSM Teacher of the Year Award in 2019.

Janelle Meyers is the Chief Sustainability Officer at the Kellogg Company.

Dion Beary is Assistant Vice President of Sales at E4E Relief, growing the global conversation around direct intervention in the lives of people in crisis. Throughout his career in partnership development, he has readily infused social impact into the business objectives of the organizations he touches. Dion values the opportunity to create meaningful solutions to the complex problems of inclusion, equity, dignity, and belonging. He lives in Charlotte with his partner, two dogs, and cat.

Elizabeth Koplan is Monster’s Vice President of Communications and Brand, developing and driving full communications plans and strategy, while also overseeing global branding, advertising, content, public relations, social media, and internal communications. Most recently, Liz created an insight-led positioning that fueled a globally validated mission and vision that now serves as a guiding light for messaging, product development and business prioritization.

Harlyn Croland is the Head of Business Operations & Strategy at Betterment at Work, where she builds sustainable processes and brings cross-functional strategy to life. Harlyn has worked at Betterment for 6 years and built out the 401(k) compliance and operations teams that support 401(k) plan sponsors and participants. Prior to joining Betterment, she worked at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, supporting ultra high net worth families and select non-profit organizations. Harlyn graduated from Washington and Lee with a degree in finance and art history and holds the Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses.

Linda Wilson is a Senior Account Executive on the Corporate Solutions team at Blackbaud, with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of community engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR). She is an equity impact leader, volunteer, board member and collaborator. In her current role, she works with small and mid-sized companies to provide an opportunity for them to explore industry best practices and build CSR and employee engagement programs utilizing Social Impact SaaS solutions.

Linda’s social impact career began at IBM as a Corporate Citizenship Manager, building partnerships and programs with state, national, and global non-profit organizations that brought opportunities for employees to share their expertise and grow leadership skills. She holds a BA in Organizational Communication and Business Leadership from Marylhurst University and is certified in Prosci Change Management, Cornell Diversity & Inclusion and she is an LCTI Life Coach.

Ben Delk has spent the majority of his career addressing systemic inequality and advocating for human rights. He is a founding member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) teams at both Salesforce and Expedia Group, and—at each company—was the first-ever Global Programs Director for their Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) totalling over 30,000 employee-members combined. His work with ERGs focused on internal governance, external partnerships, global finance, and evolving grassroots activism into organizational progress for identities of historically excluded or underrepresented populations. He is also a founding member of Salesforce’s Office of Accessibility—initiated to create equity for people with disabilities across the workforce—and was appointed as a Partnership Delegate for the World Economic Forum’s first-ever Partnership for Global LGBTI Equality (PGLE) launched in Davos 2019.

In 2021, Ben founded Expedia Group’s first-ever Human Rights program to address urgent and salient dangers facing the most vulnerable members of society impacted by the travel industry and served as its Director. With his work rooted in the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), he led the company’s anti-human trafficking initiatives and advised stakeholder teams across Product, Legal, Communications, and Government Affairs on innovative harm-mitigation policies related to content moderation, business ethics, and operations in international conflict zones.

Ben currently works at Amazon Web Services in New York City as a Principal DEI Business Partner for the Worldwide Specialist Organization advising its most senior leadership on DEI strategy and change management with a focus on eradicating oppressive societal and corporate systems.

Vidya Ayyr is the Director, Community Social Impact, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. It is the main hospital of the Parkland Health & Hospital System and serves as Dallas County’s public hospital. With over 10 years of experience, Vidya provides strategic direction and leadership to promote social innovation, with a commitment to improving the lives and livelihoods of disadvantaged, marginalized, and vulnerable populations. With a background in marketing and public health, her expertise is in bringing design-thinking principles to the health care sector, and leading a patient-centered approach to care. She has a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
