Focusing Employee Coaching to Ensure the Best Results

Companies are quickly finding out what coaches have always known: coaching is a powerful tool for well-being and development that should be made available to all employees. Yet for best effects, employers need to make sure they define it thoughtfully and differentiate it from other important practices, including mentoring, training, and therapy. What is the essence of the collaborative relationship between the coach and the employee? How can the relationship keep focused on building momentum and moving forward? What ensures that the coaching is self-directed by the employee, rather than following a set curriculum? When does coaching have the most impact?
