Brooke Rice leads the charge for scaling high-quality paid internships for high school students across the country as the Senior Director of Work-Based Learning at NAF. Throughout her career, she has worked at the local, state, and national levels to develop a skilled and diverse talent pipeline by ensuring opportunities for all students to realize their full potential in a career they love and connecting them to the businesses who are looking for innovative ways to get new talent and fresh perspectives.

With over 15 years of experience in the recruitment space, Mercheley Beuns currently serves as the Vice President for the Talent Acquisition function at Fox overseeing experienced and campus hires for the organization. Leading from a data driven standpoint she continues to implement strategic initiatives to attract, build, and diversify out candidate pipelines.

Seth Green was appointed Dean of the Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies on July 1, 2021.

Before joining Graham, Green served as Founding Director of the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility at Loyola University Chicago. During his tenure, the Center launched a top-ranked specialty MBA program, a globally significant award for social innovation in business, and an array of educational programs that annually engage more than 4,000 learners. Green also served as an Executive Lecturer in Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business, teaching classes on social entrepreneurship and receiving recognition as the Mission-Driven Faculty Member of the Year in 2021.

Prior to Loyola, Green led Youth & Opportunity United (Y.O.U.), a nonprofit organization that prepares low-income youth for post-secondary and life success. At Y.O.U., Green oversaw the fourfold expansion of programs and a $16.4 million fundraising campaign to build a state-of-the-art youth center. He also spearheaded two strategic planning processes, resulting in an enhanced program model and deepened impact. Alongside Y.O.U., Green taught courses on nonprofit management as an adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University.

Earlier in his career, Green worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, guiding private sector clients through strategy development and change management. A recipient of McKinsey’s Community Fellowship, he spent one year of his time at the firm supporting nonprofit clients, including the Gates Foundation and United Way.

Green speaks and writes on social innovation. His commentaries and research have appeared in the Christian Science Monitor, Fortune Magazine, the Journal of Business Research, and the Social Innovations Journal, and he serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Business and Society Review. Green has been a featured guest on Slate Podcasts, C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, MSNBC, and CNN, and his efforts have been covered by the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. In 2008, Utne Reader named him one of 50 “Visionaries Who Are Changing Your World.”

Green is civically engaged in Chicago, serving on the Campaign Cabinet of the United Way of Metro Chicago, the Impact Investing Advisory Council of the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, the Advisory Board of Concordia Place, the Reception Committee of the Economic Club of Chicago, and the Advisory Board of the Executives’ Club of Chicago.

A Marshall Scholar, Green holds a J.D. from Yale University, a master’s in women’s studies from Oxford University, a master’s in development studies from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University.

Scott has been working with college students and educators for over 15 years and has dedicated his career to Early Talent Acquisition and Diversity Initiatives. He helped shape the future leaders of the Accounting profession while at the American Institute of CPA’s as the Director of Student and Professional Pathways. Scott then moved to KPMG to where he focused his efforts on diversity initiatives and programming.  He has most recently led the Early Talent Recruiting teams at Gap Inc as well as Zillow Group where he is currently. Scott has an MBA from NC State with a dual concentration in Supply Chain Management and Technology Entrepreneurship & Commercialization giving him a unique perspective on Talent Acquisition.

With over 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, and higher education enrollment management, Tom is passionate about the intersection of education and business. He is currently the Head of University Relations for Biogen, a leading biotechnology company focused on developing treatments for devastating neurological diseases. Prior to Biogen, Tom was the Director of Enrollment Management for Northeastern University, where he oversaw the full cycle admissions and enrollment process for the College of Professional Studies. Tom is earning his Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Northeastern University where he is concentrating in Leadership Studies, and holds his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Amanda is an Associate Director on KPMG’s national Community Impact team. Amanda works to activate the KPMG Foundation investments in lifelong learning, by engaging KPMG partners and employees.  In particular, alongside NAF, Amanda works to provide paid internships and work-based-learning experiences to high school students from underrepresented populations.  Additionally, Amanda works on the firm’s strategy on nonprofit board service; helping to make KPMG a trusted source of ready nonprofit board leaders.  Amanda is the president of the board of the Coterie – a nonprofit professional children’s theatre in Kansas City, Missouri.
