While employers fly their rainbow flags during Pride Month, questions should still be asked: In what substantial ways could they be making a stronger commitment? LGBTQ workers are still slighted and isolated in workplaces–what can be done about that, as well as bringing more LGBTQ executives into the top ranks of leadership? Which companies are the role models for including transgender employers? Should corporate leaders speak out strongly in favor of the Equality Act in Congress, as they have done for racial justice?
